FILOIL 9000

Transformer oil treatment plant

FILOIL 9000 dries, degasses, and filters mineral transformer oil to the condition the asset needs — on energized or de-energized transformers, in the field or on the production line. Built for high throughput, it treats large power transformers quickly and runs continuously through demanding campaigns.

  • Vacuum dehydration and degassing in a single pass
  • Operates on energized or de-energized transformers
  • Engineered for mineral transformer oil
  • Stationary or mobile configuration

Overview

What FILOIL 9000 does

FILOIL 9000 brings transformer oil back to specification. Moisture, dissolved gases, and particles accumulate over years of service and pull the oil's dielectric strength down; in a single pass, the unit dries the oil under vacuum, strips dissolved gases, and filters particles to 0,5 µm, and the oil goes back to work.

The unit runs on energized transformers, so the work happens without an outage. The same plant handles oil filling for new transformers, treatment of storage tanks, and oil transfer between vessels. Operation is fully automatic, with PLC control and SCADA integration for sites that monitor remotely, and a full set of safety interlocks for unattended running.

For the underlying chemistry of moisture, oxidation, and dielectric performance, see the Handbook of Transformer Oil Excellence.

Application

Best suited for

FILOIL 9000 is the unit for large power transformers and for service work where treatment time matters. Its higher throughput shortens campaigns on big assets without giving up the line's full treatment capability. For the largest transformers, FILOIL runs up to 24 000 l/h.

Engineered to a different standard

  • The stadium chamber

A vacuum chamber no one else builds. The stadium shape enlarges the processing area, gives the oil a second degassing pass, and puts a flat wall where foam can be watched and controlled.

  • Foam under active control

Side-mounted sensors read foam height in the chamber in real time. When it rises, the PLC eases the vacuum or the flow, your choice, with no air let into the process. The enlarged shape carries more foam before it matters.

  • Upgrade without welding

Coalescers screw in and out. Add processing capacity later as a retrofit, with no welding and no cutting into the vessel.

  • Vacuum held to setpoint

The regulation valve sits on the vacuum line, not the chamber, so no air enters the process. The PLC holds the vacuum to whatever level you set.

  • Runs itself. Watches itself.

Fully automatic PLC, with a full SCADA and on-board edge analytics. Manual controls are PLC-guarded. The wrong move is blocked before it happens.

  • Connected as standard

An integrated modem and on-board server push every reading to ekofluid.cloud. Your portal holds the full history and the documentation. Log in and run the unit from any browser.

  • Inline oil analysis

Optional onboard sensors for moisture, dissolved gas, tan delta, and breakdown voltage. Readings flow straight into the SCADA.

  • Heaters built to your loading

Modular heaters, specified to your own watt/cm². Welded only from outside the vessel, then insulated. Low surface load, no local overheating.

  • Filters changed in minutes

Redesigned casings unscrew by hand. Inlet and outlet share one cartridge type, so you stock one spare. Your choice of beta ratio and micron rating.

  • Routed your way

Bypass lines as standard, so oil can take several paths through the system. The vacuum alone can draw oil through if the inlet pump is down, and pull oil back out of the hoses before disconnection.

  • Mounted however the site needs

Each frame sits on the ground, on forklift-friendly legs supplied as standard, or on an optional wheel base. All detachable.

  • Access designed in

Two-way enclosures open top and side, past 90°. Every valve reachable, every gauge readable from the side. A dedicated review checks operator access on every build.

  • Built to outlast the asset

Black steel, fully welded, dual-coated and baked. Secured stainless drain hoses on every vessel, and a catch tray that drains down at the end of the day.
